Got a laptop from comet with an extended warranty, some of the keys are broken and the side casing is starting to come apart. does anyone know if this will be covered by warranty as i know they will probably try and fob me off with excuses, so need to know before i approach them

If it's an additional warranty you've paid for it usually covers accidental damage as far as im aware so they shouldn't have any reason to make any excuses mate.
