Adium for MSN, Yahoo, etc.
Transmission for BitTorrent.
They're good, but not cool or really demonstrative of the power though
Connect360 if you've got an Xbox 360.

Well it depends what your using it for? If you don't design or produce music or videos and went out and got a mac its going to be pretty pointless.

The things im going to be looking for is how capable it is at running Adobe photoshop, indesign and illustrator at the same time without and lagging and constant thinking/loading.

Whats all this true power you are talking about? A Mac is no super computer, most are only as powerfull as your decent spec PC from Dell or HP anyway.
