Whats the best one for a c20xe astra? any 1/4 times for different boxes in corsas ect..?
looking for a shorter ratio one, think i have a F28 in it atm.

F20 and F28 have the same rations 1-5.
For better acceleration then fit an F20, purely because it weighs less.
You can also stick an F18 on which came with the later XEs; ratios are ALMOST the same as an F20, so not worth swopping for.
You can get an F16CR - close ratio which has very close 1-4 ratios, or an F16WR which has very wide ratios (140 in 4th iirc)

Cheers guys, its got the late concast head, ill see about getting a f16wr then, what do they come from? also the F16CR, isnt it a 1.6 or 1.4? as i may just have a 1.4 gearbox in the shed.
