Hey!
I was wondering if it actually possible to bond on the gsi skirts?
I have heard it is but i offered mine up and there doesnt seem much contact between the skirts and the sill.
Thanks,
Dan

To be fair it was the only question in your first post.

But yes, there should be a reasonable surface area between the sills and the gsi skirt enough to bond.

Genuine gsi skirts, or a copy?

How big is the gap when you offer them up?

Could use double sided foam tape stuff to bond them to the bod but also fill up a few mm of gappage?

Nah its not like that its really only the moldings where the clips normally join to that actually touch the body of the car! Also you got like where it should sit flush, along the bottom of the door (on the sill). If you put any tigerseal on that it will be visible from the oustide?

Usually the skirts come with like a rubber strip, that sits between the skirt and the sill, to keep it from rubbing, and presumably diminish this gap?

You could bond them on but I really wouldn't recommend it, they act as a water trap as it is without trying to make them retain even more water.

Buy the white clips, get OPC and it gives the measurements for where to rivet them on IIRC?

i just covered the clips in tiger seal and slapped the skirts on. Assumed it'd help a lil bit! Put it under the clips too...before you slide them on!

I just put the clips onto the skirts, and masking tape over the side of the car. The put paint on the clips and then held up the skirt to the car and pushed.

Pull away the skirt and u can tell by the apint where u put the clips
