Been having a few problems with the gearbox today. low gears are feeling quite "stiff" to change gear in to, and reverse is such a mission. its keeps "crunching" when reverse is selected. It does get in eventually, but its a pain, and takes a while.
Im not to sure if its due to the hot weather, or maybe ive dislodged something due to the car being mega low and maybe caught something on road?. Im not to sure.
But any help would be appreciated. If this sounds like a major problem? and tips on how to get it into reverse when i have these problems?
Cheers guys

This will probs sound really stupid but im going to type it anyways.
Sometimes my sisters car doesnt go into reverse and it just crunches. So what she does is she will lift her foot slightly off of the clutch then put her foot back down and try again. It generally works everytime to get it into reverse.

Theres no synchro on reverse so if its dragging at all it will crunch!

Could be clutch not engaging the gear properly. My VTS was murder so used to pump the clutch few times and it made it smoother. I would say get you clutch replaced when it becomes serious (slipping gears) and get them to also check the gearbox for any damage/wear at the same time.
