After snow foaming, and letting it dry, does it leave water-marks on a black car? Just wondering as i get really pissed off with damn water-marks all over which then means 2 hours of polishing and waxing which i dont mind but sometimes just want a quick wash. Thanks

if you want a quick wash then dont snow foam? Also when I snow foam I let it soak in but I dont let it dry on, I also rinse the car before foaming it.

Yeah was told on sax-p (saxo forum) that snow foam is ideal as you can just spray it on with the snow-gun and leave it. It will dry clean, shiny and with no watermarks.

I use snowfoam just as a bathing stage before I wash it with a bucket of soapy shampoo.

I'm no expert but i've never seen anybody leaving the snowfoam on, it's just soapy water.

Foam should be the 1st thing to touch a dirty car, spray it onto a dry car and it clings better.
you'll still need to give it a good wash after foaming and blasting the foam off. Foam is literally to get all the gritty bits off.
to avoid any water spotting, dry your car quite well, leave the car a little wet. then go over with a microfibre cloth and some speed detailer

I've got one of those fllash car washes that attach to your hose, you fill them with de-ionised water and sray the car with it, it just mists off

From my understanding you can use snowfoam straigh on, pressure rinse it off then dry the car as a quick wash.
Though if your looking to stop water marks then give the car a quick drying with a squidgee to remove the bulk of the water, then spray with some megs quickdetailer/last touch and dry with a towel.

snow foam is the first step, its a rinse and then you go over it with your wash mitt to rid the dirt.
if you leave the car and not dry it of course you will get ater marks, i can fully reccomend a meguirs watermagnet or a really big microfibre cloth, both can be found on cleanyourcar.co.uk

That is pretty much spot on
Snow foam is just a pre-wash to loosen dirt before washing, would look a right mess if you left it to dry!!

The Megs Water Magnet is crap, go for Poorboys or Sonus drying towels and don't go straight over the snow foam with a mitt, rinse it off first then wash with your regular shampoo.

Lol, havent even seen the water magnet tbh. Im defo getting myself some snow foam and a snow-foam gun thingy. They out of stock on cleanyourcar.co.uk though

I had one a couple of years ago and after a few washes it stopped absorbing water and caused a lot of small marks. Since swapping to a different sort I've never had the problem again.

Im into cleaning, BUT as the only car i clean atm is ford panther black. As soon as i clean it and go round the block in it, its covered in shitty dust! So i spend about 3/4 hours and £££'s of products cleaning for it to be ruined in 2mins of driving!
Cant wait until next summer when i will be cleaning arden blue !
