Thew whole corner thing.

Straightline car, very impressive from a 4 pot.

But it does not go round corners at all. :Lets take a mutli million pound investment car, chop the roof down, cut n shut it, then put in a 1000bhp engine, and expect it to go round a bend properly.

It didn't do bends, which is what I thought half the cars design was about. So in effect, half of the car failed, but the straightline performance side is superb.

iirc lauching was its main issue

the issue with going round bends was it was approching them so much quicker than everything else it allways looked out of control - also Simon has admitted he is far from the best driver, but why build a toy and not use it

Not knocking that James. I've seen so much footage of his driving, but what others forget is they arn't 200bhp corsas....

But it still never went round bends properly. If he's approaching them quicker, more time is needed setting up the brakes.

Awaits bandwagon jumpers who go off on one for having a valied opinion

i think there is a happy medium though

and when you have a very short car with 1000bhp it doesnt make it easy at all to drive but i see what you mean

That just look plain fucking naughty tbh.

Out of interest what advantage does mounting the engine the other way round have James? Do you know?

Is it just to get the weight behind the front wheels?

I think having the engine around that way is so you can have a 4wd transfer box, etc.

Looks even more than it did before. pure mintage!

0-150mph 8secs! most cars don't even hit 60 that quickly!

i belive it was to stop eating clutches & diffs

if you have a look at the old vids, when he lauched it, it use to go about 5ft left as well, something to do with the shorter drive shaft

now, with what i belive to be a version of the skyline box like martin uses in the reyland escos, he should have got rid of those problems
