The dizzy cap is numbered, if you look on the rocker on the front head you will see that it is also numbered to help it correspond.
Also, the top 3 from the coilpack, the bottom 3 for the rear IIRC.

Are you sure the firing order is correct because that could be your problem, then check the timing and do a compression test to see if you have any bent valves. Whats the history of the engine?

sounds as if ignition timing or can timing is retarded.

No idea just bought it on its own all the bloke sed is that it runned and its done 80000 mile he showed me clocks was gunna have a look today but its pissing it down

I av got it sorted out now it was the timing after all my brother timed it up with a screw driver took no 1 plug art stuck screw driver in found top dead point took rocker cover off timing belt off turned cams around to rite place bang it all back together fire up str8 away lol
