Hey all ive got a T-reg corsa 1.2 club and when im steering to left its really light but when going right the steering goes very heavy. As the car was in a accident before i bought it my boyfriend was told the problem is a bent shocker so hes changed the shockers and the problem hasnt gone. Is there anything else that could cause the steering to do this??? Thanks

EPS? Sounds like a torque sensor on the column....there was a good thread on MIG on how to fix it

It's quote common for Corsa's with the EPAS unit to be lighter one way than the other
As ellis said it will be the torque sensor, and it's a bit of a bitch to change,

being a sensor would it come up on a fault code reader??? it was in garage last week to be plugged in because of engine trouble and the only fault it was reading was crankshaft sensor.

The fault code reader reads the fault codes from the ecu that runs the engine, EPS has a sepeate ecu so prob wouldnt have come up
Is it EPS the car has?
