So, been a quiet night - Just watched that Bruce Lee film on BBC 1 .... Thought id have an early night. Looked out my window to see the L piece of the passenger side skirt has been ripped off my car parked directly outside my house.
So within one year, I've had it broken into - Spray painted down one side and now this ....
Pissed off isn't the ideal words for how mad i am at this moment in time.
Anyone know of any good CCTV equipment ?

Are you sure it hasn't fallen off?
For CCTV, get down to maplins. They have all that stuff in there.

Your talking to the wall here about CCTV's
Just get one that looks cool and lets you shoot people.
Or look for high quality and in colour.
How much do you think you can spend on one?

Someone may have stolen one off his car and now he's stolen one off yours.
Don't worry though, what comes around, goes around
I know the feeling. I had over £1k stolen out of my Astra. They even took my car mats

CCTV's lovely for watching scrotes, note this lovely chap taking a piss on the drive at our old house. This was just before they pulled on balaclavas, went up the road and CS gassed a shopkeeper, his wife and baby during an attempted robbery.
Nice huh?

Best thing was I went out and challenged him, he says "Soz mate, I'll just finish off..."
"No, get the fuck off my drive before I take a hammer to your cock."
This is the kind of thing we had:
http://www.alertelectrical.com/CCTV-Systems-And-Components/CCTV-Cameras/Colour-CCTV-Cameras/12V-High-Res-External-IR-Bullet-Camera-with-Sony-CCD-CAM3008.asp
But ours was wireless with a radio receiver. We routed it through a tv card and recorded directly onto a hard disk which could then burn down to DVD.
Word soon gets around when there's a camera about, but it's a double edged sword. Whilst tossers are somewhat put off from commiting crimes there, it can attract trouble. We had one instance of two guys taking shelter on our drive from another group trying to assault them, as they knew the camera was there. So that was another interesting night in Coventry with blue flashing lights outside our house.

I can't find the one we had, just showing you the style. It screwed to the outside of the house, right under the eaves. A power cable went to it through the wall, then there was a receiver inside which we ran through the card (not included).
All you should need is a TV card with an AUX input.

Plenty of times, but life must go on and people are always going to be jealous, what do you expect to do, not own a car because of it?
It's shit and don't I know it.
