just to stop excess oil entering the turbo. i havent made an outlet for it yet. just experamenting with welding, might try getting a bigger bottle in there

Primarily used to stop oil getting spurted ito TB or onto road/engine
I.e It vents the oil'y air but CATCHES the oil.. you can vent it to atmosphere or standard places like the inlets.
Mine has baffle plates and wire wool to help seperate the oil.

I have breathers on the two cam covers... see two hoses. The both vent to the catch tank.
the catch tank had two inlets, but 1 is lower and potentially below the oil line if it became full :/

would have been better turned on its side so the inlet and outlet are the same level but then the filters would be high up. doupt it would get that full before you noticed it

its easy to remove and drain... how else would i drain it without taking it out :S

mines was made because the car was bogging down feeding oil into the inlet



didnt cost very much either

a £1.50 tub from tesco, two wickes polyplumb 15mm to 10mm reducers (take all the seals out of them) drill two 19mm holes, reducers in and screw the backs on inside (seal it all up with liquid gasket or something if you feel like it)
