So what electricity and gas companies are you all with?
At the moment in undecided whether to go to Npower or Scottish Power.. Need to get things set up for the weekend.
Who do you recommend? How much do you spend?
We dont have any monthly usages so cant do the online estimates to see who'll be cheaper..

British Gas - £90 for 3 months. Not used the central heating but tend to have two showers a day whic runs directly off the hot water feed.
Scottish Power - £170 again for 3 months. Was expecting it to be high due to using the tuble dryer to dry washing and running 3/4 PCs all the time.

Im DualFuel with British Gas
My DD is Gas £30 and Electricity £20 a month. My last bill we hadn't used up that allowance, but they are quarterly bills, I await the next bill with some apprehension what with the recent price rises...

No idea what my usage is, British Gas dont seem to allow me to view my old meter readings.
Only use gas on a combi for heating water for washing up and the shower in the morning and night for 2 people, although pipework has been on the blink leaking so might have gone up this month.
Electric is used for everything elsem and im at home all day with the PC and or Xbox and laptop and telly on

Hmmm they seem to be the one thats recommended to us..
TBH they seem cheap enough, can always change so many months down the line.. just need a provider for now

Both with southern energy iirc...

Im with EDF energy, ive been pretty pleased with them over the 18 months or so ive been with them, set up a DD & ive not had to do anything, they advise quarterly if my DD's need to go up or down if my accounts in credit or arrears.
Stay away from Scottish Power....I was with them when I 1st moved here & there the biggest pile of wank ever!! They couldnt organise a piss up at a bar! In short they charged me someone elses bills & took the money out my account, changed the plan (contract I signed) without even contacting me, changed my name   YES they changed my name on their reccords to another second name, wouldnt listen when I phoned them 16 times to try to sort it out then threatened to take me to court when I stopped paying, Also I was paying close to what my old man way paying for a 4 bedroom house, Im in a 1 bed upper flat!  Bunch of cowboys....KEEP CLEAR!!

Agreed scottish power are wankers
they udnercharged natalie and i for 2 nd a half years by never taking an actial elec reading then dumped us with a £350 bill when we wanted to leave

Mum and dads gas bill for 3 months with EDF was £750, on top of whatever the direct debit is
