anyone know where i can get an 11mmx1.25 helicoil? ive tried lots of places but no luck

Rs sell loads thats where I get them from but there is no M11 size?

on my c20let block it has helicoils in there, me bing stupid pulled one out whilst attached to a head bolt & stretched the helicoil. went to fit my arp's & the size is 11mm, weird size apprently

Metric sizes are M10 or M12 Im sure but like you say, they will be a fine thread.Maybe ring ARP to get the definite thread size? or someone might know on here?

Then if RS dont have them you can try cromwell tools

the thread size of the arp is 11mm, chris astley said try an 12mmx1.25 helicoil or a 13mm one

Thing is if your looking for a metric helicoil you will be looking at either M10 or M12, there is no M11 or M13

M12x1.25 rings a bell for me, are you measuring the diameter of the thread and getting 11mm?

on ebay there are some m11 helicoil with 1.25 pitch

the thread on the arp head stud is 11mm, my mate came round yesturday & took a look at it, he said the helicoil i need is 11mmx1.25, i found the 11mmx1.25 helicoil kit for £60. i think the thread in the block is 12mm. a mate of mine works at vauxhall & said the 12mm sounds right. i'll check it tonight
