crunches from 1st -> 2nd unless I let the revs drop to tick over or just above, does it in no other gear and doesnt do it going from 2nd -> 1st

clutch need adjusting or is the box fucked

doesnt do it all the time either, just mainly from cold

My Corsa used to do that. And it has stopped since the 'warm' weather. Normally does do it in cold weather though.

I just thought it was because my car is old. . . although yours is new

yeah yours is an old vauxhall, mine is a new Fiat spot the problem,

sources are suggesting it could be the box oil,

its been 17,000 miles since its last service, its due in 1000 miles
