Hi guys,

I have been with O2 for 6 years now and never had a problem with them. But recently my phone has had a terrible time keeping reception. It always bottoms out when I get a call even though I could be sat here with perfect reception when it rings it goes down and I can barely hear the people on the other end.

It will also randomly loose reception in places that it has been fine in in the past.

Could this be the phone or the network?

I have switched 3g off as it was exacerbating the problem.

You will know by getting another O2 phone off someone and using your sim. See if you have the same issues.
Probably will be the phone though.

do a soft reset on the phone (back everything up)
