mine to be honest has been fantastic reliability wise in 2 years ive owned it, dont expect silly acceleration from one but they are quick i would say they have good smooth power delivery......

interior is fine but look after the leather, ive conditioned mine twice a month and it still is showing small signs of cracking on driver seat..... mines on 50k miles

overall i would say they are very good car, look good/reliable and fairly quick.

I have driven one. Nice and comfy and felt quite sharp to drive for a car of that type (no clio/saxo etc but nice) doesnt feel that quick but is if you get what i mean

Still one of my favorite looking cars too especially when given a small lowering

I've had my GSi just over a year now,

Havent had any "real" problems just little things like a crack in the header tank

As for driving, as standard pretty shit, dont handle, not really fast, about the same as an xe'd corsa

Spend a couple of grand on them, and the car comes to life..

I've had mine mapped to a reliable 312bhp/389ft lbs, sorted the suspension, just need to do the brakes now! But the car is fun to drive and pretty fast.

You dont have problems with M3's and such, and even showed some 'supercars' the power of the astra!

The problem with them is they are all to electronic, steering is lifeless, throttle response is like an arcade. Just lacked much driver involvement.

Not sure on others but mine was regal stage one and was shite on petrol.

look good though:

heres my old one:
