well ive done lots of research into it as i really wanted rock band then got told to wait for gh4 as its going to be better.
so i got gh3 and just the rock band game no instruments (can use the guitar from gh3 and the xbox mic so only short of drums) and decieded to wait for gh4.
given that the price is practically the same as most places the rock band instruments alone are £130 then extra £40 for game, and the fact you get an extra guitar thing what ever it may be then with pre ordering at play.com, i think its worth it

So its basically rock band, just the guitar is funkier and there are more songs ? Oh and that includes the drum kit and everything ?

yes and the drums are wireless which i beleive rock band arnt and also imo the setlist is much better

gh4 drums are meant to be 1000x better aswell.. they touch sensitive.. i.e the harder you hit them the louder the sound... also they have crash and ride cymbals too

Its a shame that the songs off Rock Band aren't on GH3. The songs are 100 times better

i bought rock band a few weeks ago
£150 for a bit of fun seemed like a lot but me and my mates have had loads of fun with it. well worth the money now imo
