LOLZ.
Keegan speaks a lot of sense then doesn't really show it with his team!
You had Alladice playing Smith as a midfielder and make shift winger. Hes an out and out striker and can't play any other position.
Keegan comes along and I thought he'd play him as one, he did for a few games then back in to midfield. Its no wonder the fans don't like Smithy anymore!
Its like making Comso wear the glorious colours of Manchester United and asking him to like it.

Can't say I really blame him to be honest, he's been undermined from day one.
What I can't abide is the fact yet again we're made to look stupid by an incompetent board.
As for the comment on Smith he has never been an out and out striker and never will be hence why managers have tried him in midfield, a position in which he is equally inept. The simple top and bottom of it is he was a promising youngster who never fulfilled his potential and is still living off a couple of good seasons at Leeds.

Ashley is a disgrace. Newcastle are rapidly falling behuind everyone, no longer can we consider ourselves a team that should be in Europe.

Wasn't the meeting with the board supposed to be on sunday anyway?
Surely he wouldn't have had the meeting, spent yesterday recruiting new players and then walk away?

Who said he was doing any recruiting, it was probably wise

That's exactly what I was going to say, I honestly dont think Keegan has had any input into the comings a going at Newcastle since his arrival

If it is true I can see Wise being Tempoary manager, however I'd be interested to see who his longterm sucessor will be.

In all honesty that isn't the view of your typical Newcastle fan. Most have known for a while now that we're on a downward spiral and the only way we're going to improve is with a competent Manager that the board is prepared to back in order to give us a period of stability.
I know a majority of Newcastle fans loved Keegan rejoining the club but in all honesty it was only ever going to end in tears!
