Around £5-6,000

something along the lines of a 2000 Ibiza Cupra or something of that spec/size/power

engine wise or size wise?

Astra is;nt too bad, insurance is only group 15

I was insuring mine at 22 with 9 points and a 6month ban for speeding

So you want a hatch turbo? astras, R5GTTs, Glanzas, GTIRs, cupras.... probs missed a few, can't think.

TBH most turbo cars from the factory are "sensible".

yeah i suppose i didnt phrase that well, just not my thing tbh, yeah want a hatch. but it would have to be 1.8T or above i suppose to make it something i want

i love rsturbos, Glanzas, Puntos GTs etc but the idea small engine trubo car isnt good in my head also id like a car i could have a reliable 250bhp out of

With that kinda budget you will only get something like a Ibiza or poss a petrol Golf Anni. All very well but I think they will get boring in no time.

mk4 golf gti... or even better IMO a mk4 golf GTTDI... you can get a revo chip for them and a remap and they produce more torque than an evo fq400
