I shall be takingh delivery of a lovely Mk2 Fiesta Popular Plus
I may also be able to lay my hands on a tinworm riddled XR2 of the same era.... You can see where this is going......
Does anyone here know if the engine and box will be a relatively easy swap? (Its a fire breathing 1litre at present)
Also whats the differences in spec between the two models?
Obviously bumpers, wheels, brakes and interior....
Dash? Glass? Suspension? Anything else?
Also, any input as to a good Fiesta/blue oval forum would be very much appreciated!

Google's your best bet I'd have thought mate. Try 'xr2 owner's clubs' and start from there

the engine and suspension etc will go straight on,
the interior will swap over.
im not sure about the front panel thou, as it may be different.

I have a MK2 Fiesta, theyre awesome.
I think pretty much everything is a direct swap mate.
