Evening,
I need your help. Right, my little sister passed her test not too long ago and I bought her some speakers as a present and am fitting them for her.
I have done the fronts no problem but she has a Breeze which did not come with rears as standard and therefore has no mounting brakets for them, I need a picture or at least a description of how the OEM rear speakers are fitted to the rear trim panels.
If you have no practical advice please dont bother, I dont have the time for people with comments like "put 18 subs and another engine in the boot" etc...
Thanks very much,
Rich
Ps its a corsa b. ta

I was sure that i had some pics that could explain it all. You'll just have to make do with my terrible wording
T20 screwdriver is a must. The screws are very deep in.
I think that you will need some self tapping screws to hold in the speakers. Oh you have got 10cm speakers haven't you?

Are you wanting to put origanl speakers in the back or aftermarket ones?
If aftermarket ones you will need this:-
http://www.nexxia.co.uk/Speaker_adaptors/vauxhall.htm
They will take 13cm speakers

Cheers guys,
jahunt I have a pair of 100mm JBL speakers and no OEM ones as the car didnt have them as standard.
.......I want to fit them under the speaker grille,s either side of the parcel shelf, in the original mountings.
However, when I took the rear trim out to try and mount them there are no mountings , just the grill in the top of the panel
therefore, i need to know how the OEM ones were mounted in order to either fabricate some new ones or go and find some from a scrappy.
If anyone can offer a description or pics of the part I am looking for it would be much appreciated.

i put in an original speaker y'day as i didn't have one on one side.
when i took the panel off i realised i didn't have a mounting bracket.
i just screwed straight through the plastic 'seat' that it sits in under the grill. seams to be fine.

dont put uprated speakers in the panel, it will rattle everything and sound rubish. been there spent hours getting the fitted snugly and the shook the panel
better idea, put 16cm or 6x9 into the rear door card.

Ok Adam, your saying just cut the rear cards to fit the speakers, so there is enough mounting depth under there then?
