Saw this in Autocar and i thought it looks fucking ace That interior.

Ive not been a fan of the A4 since the "original" one. But this looks tasty.

Any experiences?

I really like the design of the A5. I think the design is perfect. I thing every Audi after that will be poor, in the design stakes.

Its weird cos my Astra 2.0DTi (with less than half the power and torque) is supposed to get 49mpg, the BMW 335d (more power and torque than the Audi) is also meant to get 42mpg........

Think someone is telling porkies

42mpg is achievable no doubt.

Technology has come a long long way compared to a ropey 2.0 DTi lump.

What you don't realise is to do the MPG test, they put exactly 1 gallon in the tank, therefore the car is lighter, and then probably drive at optimum ~55mph until the petrol/diesel runs out.

Deano, in fairness the test is more of a comparative tool and manufacturers undertake the tests with the same emthod.

Yes your unlikely to achieve the results but it provides an indication of how it performs against similar rivals

Yea while it may not be an accurate test, if everyone does the same inaccurate test then you can compare, so it works to a degree

Rushed the reply, but I was intending putting a note about the BMW diesel range. Fantastic.
