hi folks,
had my pavillion dv6920 for just over a week now, but the webcam doesnt seem to work right.
it always comes out mirrored!!! ive tried adjusting the settings through live messenger, but it always reverts back to being mirrored.
the software installed is cyberlink youcam, i d/led the most recent driver.
any ideas?

Go into the software settings for the cam, there will be a setting to revert the image to normal. Then u shud be ok

theres no software for the cam.
its all preinstalled Hp gear.
it usues either: youcam or quickplay. but neither of these have a mirror image setting.

well, that programme was naff lol.
didnt allow any setting adjustment and had an aweful refresh rate on its cam streaming.

you need to install ffdshow with it then customize the settings, read the website properly.

i have done mate...
i think it maybe be "youcam" which is screwing it up.
shame as its a damn good programme

^^ just tried, waste of time TBH.. they told me to recover the drivers from the 'recovery partition'.
did this and its exactly the same.
