Just got from the Bolton vs United game and all that can be said is Rob Stiles is a disgrace! I just pai £41 to watch a complete farce. Granted Muambe missed a sitter from about 5 yards but until the joke of a penalty decision we were well in it. How on earth do referee's have the nerve to try and demand respect when their going to make unacceptable errors like that today  He was a joke all game! Rant over.

im a united fan and i will say it was a shocking decision, the bolton player made a great tackle, but i hope the press dont make out ronaldo dived as he didnt

hahaha Marc please tell me you didn't just say that!! What a poor comment. Who knows what would have happened if the ref didn't bottle it for the bigger team as always. That penalty decision killed the game for us completely, nevermind Rooney's goal. You could have scored another 2 or 3 after that then it would have been a complete joke as in all fairness we were playing well an should easily have taken at least a point away from it!

A different sequence of events would have occured had Man Utd not got the penalty, for a start the play would have carried on, so the play wouldn't have been continued from the centre spot, Bolton players would still think they have a chance and their gameplay would have been a few % higher. It might have led to better things or even worse things.

Doesn't matter if you win by 1 goal or 2, winnings winning. The penalty probably did knock you, we were on top of you anyway by this point.

Rob Stiles was the clown who gave a penalty against Finnan for a nothing challenge on Malouda...
He should be demoted as he was back then for this...
He makes far too many high profile mistakes for my liking...

Also, i hardly think United vs Bolton was a big game, the chelsea vs scum incident yes but that no
United would have still be odds on to win the match with 30mins left, which i know doesn't mean they would have won, but the chances are they would have done

Thing is, if he can make this mistake in the Premier League he can make it in the Championship where the stakes are higher ie promotion.
