can powdercoatg be applied to a set of freshly refurbed rims, just unsure if would take?

only reason i ask can get them reffurbed free and the rims cheap, dont wanna go ahead then not get the finish i want

I cant see why not, but if you use filler im not sure if it'll stick though as the powder is applied through a charge
