Hi guys i have recently put a 2.0 16v redtop in my corsa and its all in and running and driving fine etc apart from one problem i cant get my head around!
Basically once the engine gets warm it starts to missfire but its kind of sounds like its not gettin enough fuel or maybe to much im not sure, iv replaced the plugs and leads and dizzy cap and air flow sensor and air filter but still have had no joy
if anyone has any suggestions of things i could try to solve it please let me know
thanks

when fuel relay went on my mates it would be fine normal driving and just cut out when giving it some had to wait 5 mins for it to cool down before it would start. if its temp sensor it will run rich when its hot as the ecu thinks the engine is still cold. does it idle high?

Is it a misfire as in dropping onto 2 or 3 cylinders or just a random misfire? are all the pipes air tight and does it puff any smoke out when it starts misfiring?

So more of an engine briefly cutting out then? Could be anything really, does the rev counter drop when it cuts or does it read the correct RPM all the time? If its been like this since you converted it is all the wiring up to scratch?
