they never made a non turbo mk4 gsi
That doesn't look like a gsi, doesn't have a gsi engine so I'd say he's talking out of his hole, tbh he doesn't even know himself so I'd be tempted to go with the facts tbh

Sri turbo wheels, non gsi spoiler, no pics of the gsi interior, no pics of the gsi front bumper, rub strips - if that's a gsi I'll eat my iPod....

they did make a gsi non turbo and yes they are rare they made it then turned it into the sri ad they wanted to produce the turbo one so he aint lying

nope my sri doesnt there was just a few that slipped through as a gsi which were non turbo

The Sri turbo was the stop gap between the previous sporty model - the Sri 2.2 - and the Gsi turbo
that is how I've always known it to be (hence the low numbers of sri turbos as it was a limited run), and with it being on a S plate (when you could still get the last of the mk3 Gsi liter editions) I'd still be surprised if that was genuine - either way, it looks tacky

they were right at the begining of them making the mk4 when they didnt think they were going to make a tubby one then they badged them up as an sri like mine is so they are all around the s reg mark seen a few now

yes they did make a non turbo gsi very early mk4's same as a sri really 2.0 ecotec
edit> just saw the ebay ad thats a shocking example and no way was they 200bhp

It does look like an SRi with GSi badges, it isn't a turbo but by the looks of things j10e w has found that the earlier models were called GSi's but of course in terms of performance they don't compare to the turbo

As prev mentioned, there was a GSi non turbo, very rare and not many about, but they did exist.
