right am looking to do engine conversion in my mk4 astra as soon as possible really. engine swap an loom is easy but the bit im stuck on is the ecu. have asked on another forum for astras but not getting no straight answers from them really. so my question is how would i go about using an older engine in a newer car? would i need to run 2 ecus?? and if so how would i do this or could i just use the one from the engine i am going to put in my car?? this is the only bit im stuck on really so any help would be greatley appreciated

just use the ecu and wiring for the engine that your fitting

so it makes no differance of the MK or year then as i thought newer astras/corsas etc were coded

yer but you will be getting rid of your ecu so will be ok, so just use the ecu and loom off the engine your putting in
