Got a k800i flashed by the vodaphone shop, tried a few sim cards in it and it dident seem like it had been flashed, one morning turned it on and it wouldnt do anything, just flashes a red light in the IR port  tryed google etc and tryed some software recomended to flash it again (the software dident even detect the phone) ... no luck even been to vodaphone shop and they dident really care but said they could send it off for 45quid.... anyone had same problem and/or know a fix ?

flashing red light means software issue mate which isnt good.
the normal update the voda shop would have done wouldnt work.
how old is the phone? sony phones come with 2 year warranty bud

out of warranty he checked it  its for my dad he brought it had it flashed and now its like this cheers for reply dude

i could get it sent away for repair possibly bud.
you would just have to get the phone to me and pay to get it back?
no guarantee but i may be able to sort it.

yep had same problem, has to be sent off for repair im afraid and if ur oput of arranty then ur fucked

You could get a couple of credits from Wotan server and try to flash it your self with the cable.

Mine did the exact same thing, used Wotanserver and it worked a treat.

Buy one credit 7 Euros, then download the wotan server program from the site.
Follow the instructions and select the right firmware etc..
