my mate has given me a brand new lambda sensor that he had lyin round in his garage, only trouble is its got a different end to mine on my car. can i just cut and join my end to the new sensor?

Yeah, remember it will have to be crimped and you cant solder the wires.

Ah right

The wire is special and doesn't allow you to solder it, i tried for ages and couldnt do it, ended up crimping and heat shrinking them.
