It may be "cool" but the camera is crap, took a few pictures with it in low light and they came out more or less black, cant record videos, cant send and receive with bluetooth, cant send picture messages, it doesn't actually do much that most phones these days do, In the 5 days I had it I used my 6300 more...

I have just got that phone Jay
It's not much bigger/heavier than my old N95. The software (S60) is very similar, screen is nice and the camera is really good. Still playing about with it. Got the 8GB version as the 16GB is hard to find but I got another 8GB SD card from ebay for a good price.

A camera phone is hardly EVER as good as a camera though, and if thats what he wanted most out of a phone then why the fuck did he buy an iPhone in the first place?

Define good, I'm pretty sure these new 8MP phones are as good a decent 6MP camera that people were only using over the last 18 months or so. I have no idea about buying the iphone though

I don't want a camera though, I want the convenience of it on my phone, I didn't know the iPhone had such a shit camera and couldn't record videos, I didn't know the bluetooth on it was practically none existant etc, bought an iPhone to save me buying a phone and an iPod and cause I liked the look of it, didn't expect it to be such a shit phone for the price of it. Sorry for having an opinion and not liking something, its a poor excuse for a phone in this day and age. I guess im just not iGimp.

Well it depends what you want more of.
You say you want an iPod and a phone - so the iPhone is obviously best.
You say you want a phone and a camera - so the iPhone obviously isnt the best.
I expect a thread next week once you've got a phone that can take good pics saying that its shite because it doesnt have a iPod in it!

Apart from sending files by bluetooth(which can be done via email) iPhone does all of the above. and can also do lots of other shit like set Sky+ to record at home whilst at work, use it as a TV remote when ur at home, play Quake, use it as a gameboy, listen to 2000+ libary of songs with coverflow and genius playslists, watch films, access facbook/myspace through specifically designed apps, access free apps/games every day through app store, find your way home when your lost using maps and gps.... just to name a few.

No they aren't, more pixels doesn't mean better, means the opposite when more are shoved into a tiny phone sensor normally.

Sending pictures through bluetooth isn't the same as sending one through email at all, I wasn't expecting it to have an amazing camera as well as an iPod, but I expected it to be half decent atleast, my 6300 took better pictures in low light than it. I did like a lot of the stuff on it like Brabus has mentioned but it was just the odd bits that let it down and made it seem not worth the money.
