when i removed my sump there were 2 gaskets - 1 each side of the baffle plate
they also had little metal studs inthem both sides of the bolt holes
so when i buy a new bottom end gasket set will the ones i need be in there?
or will i have to buy the sump gaskets seperate and also a bottom gasket set for the others i will need ?
or what do u recomend ? seen rubber and cork gaskets too
any brands better than others? or best get GM sets? or are the cheaper ones on ebay ok ? ( also for top end gasket set )
Thanx

iirc the gasket comes in 2 pieces for the 1 price. Personally I find them garbage and replaced them 3 times on my Astra and they all leaked.
On the Corsa I have plumped for the 2ltr 8v gasket. It comes in 1 bonded to the baffle plate.
Autovaux are probably best for it.

Like I said it comes as a baffle plate with the rubber gasket bonded to it.
You chuck the baffle plate fitted to your engine now and replace with the 8v item.

if you buy the 1 piece unit, you will have to shorten your sumpbolts
