I've got a 97 1.2 3dr corsa
I've currently got the infamous "Exhaust Knocking"
It some time knocks when just sitting still, think it is because its lowered so its doing it more.
Anyway what size is the bracket so i can quickly get one from halfords 
they do them in inch sizes
anyone??

the bracket im on about is about 2/3 of the way up the car if your going back to engine

If the bracket is knocking just loosen it and move it/ spin it aroundthen retighten it. best thing to do is get it up on a lift (one where the wheels are on the lift) then see where/how it bangs. Usually its the pipe banging on the rear beam or backbox hitting the bumper.

yeah thats whai think it is but i tryed loosening it and one of the bolkts snapped hence why i need a new 1

well take the clamp off and take it to a shop and match it up

Drive to halfrauds or camberleys and take it off out side then take it in. Doubt your exhaust would just fall off if you took it off at home and drove with it off. Mine took a right hammering for the sections to pull apart.
