Decided to sell my much beloved Steinmetz leather gear knob.
I bought this from Rossiters, the sole UK importer for Steinmetz kit. It cost me £50. I got it in April 2008, and only really used it throughout the summer. Ever since by grill got damaged at Uni by dirty thieving pikey skumbags, I haven't been using it as they may come back for the gear knob as it's a bit pricey.
They currently sell for £46 + £6 delivery from Rossiters eBay store.

1 punctured hole as 1 screw was missing. You can't help this happening.
Stitching perfectly intact, which faces your stereo.
It will come with the gear knob and original box. Unfortunately it is missing 1 bolt, however secures just fine to the car and I've never had any problems with it. You use a very small allen key. As a result, it 'punctures' the leather which I'll get a picture of, but you can hardly see it.
Apparently, it fits the following vehicles:
Tigra, Tigra TT, Corsa B, Corsa C, Astra F, Astra G, Astra Coupe, Calibra, Meriva, Vectra B, Vectra C, Omega B, Zafira, Sintra and Signum.
HOWEVER
it doesn't really fit a pre-97 Corsa B gear stick, because the plastic lift up reverse bit is slightly different.
Therefore, I personally can only guarantee it fits a post-97 Corsa B with round, leather-look insert gear knob.
If you have any fitting questions, let me know. I do have a spare, post-97 lift up reverse bit which could be fitted to your pre-97 gear stick and gaitor.

Sadly, I didn't get any of it fitted.
It did sit slightly higher than standard post-97, however it was on a stick out of a pre-97, which are higher again. My advice is to either use your existing post-97 stick, or obtain one from a scrappy to save messing up your existing 
It did feel nice though

No, what I'm saying, is that I don't think you'll need to cut the stick down, because I was using pre-97.
The gearknob is designed for a post-97, because the plastic bit you put your fingers round for the lift reverse doesn't fit properly if it's pre-97.
Even if you did have to cut the stick down, it would be a tough job because the gear stick is very very easy to take out
As said, I don't think you will have to though mine was a pre-97 stick, with new gaitor and plastic bit off a post-97 for the lift reverse

How come there's 2 holes in it? I'm guessing one is to screw it to the shaft, But what abnout the puncture hole you mentioned?

There are normally 2 screws to fit it to the actual gear stick/shaft as you mentioned. However, when I fitted it a week later after buying it, I saw there was 1 screw missing  it would have been a pain in the arse trying to get another one in there, so resorted just using the top one. When I put the allen key in, it made the bigger hole you can see above, as the bottom one has never had the allen key in it.
Secures perfectly well and I've never had it shift will changing gear

Yeah, exactly. The top of my gear stick without gearknob was all rough like a wood file, so it grips really well.
