Probably do it you self if you're pretty knowledgable

yeh it is mate, he contacted me a couple of weeks ago, looking for a deal.
He then emailed me today and sed that there was smoke coming from header tank. Before i wanted to make any commitments i wanted to find out what kinda things i would be facing in doing the piston ring change, and if it would be worth it in the long run. I work in the motor trade so it wouldn be a problem getting the work done, its the costs im worried about mre than anything

I would n trust myself doing that job matey! Id rather spend that little bit extra to get it done properly than risk fucking it up myself lol!

As much as i like the car and hes struck me a very good deal, i wouldn want to fudge it up driving it back!

dont be a such a fucking gayboy!!!

buy that c20xe off foxyk8t and sort yours out ffs!!!!

it advertised for 3k so why would he swap for yours advertised at 1700??

and the fact its running 175 bhp which compared to a standard 1.6 8v is fucking loads so boost is probably knocked up to fuck which is why rings needs doing and prob not the only thing that will want replacing. hes just used a spacer plate and fitted the turbo no not even low compression mate.

up to you at end of the day quadz but i think u will regret it mate

thats just me saying mate, not having a go or owt

Oh fuck off shaun! your nothin but a fuckin tool! An for some sort of reason thats why i love you in pointing me in the right direction!

Still havent had a reply from foxy but as soon as i do that'll be a start.
I did question him about a few things and it dod sound a little off that a spacer plate has been used, not only the fact its running standard management at about 1000 psi!

Sounds to good to be true really, so back to the drawing board!

Oh and thanks for ur reply this mornin shaun! I have sorted the exhaust now! so its all good fancy a joy ride tonight??
