Hi there, i recently bought a interior neon kit which contained:
2 x 12" neons
1 x inverter
1 x switch
I installed the neons under the driver and passenger footwells wired them up to my cigarette lighters power as instructed connected them to the inverter and switch. So ok should work. Anyway when i switch them on i get a fuzzing noise coming through my speakers, So i bought a interference suppresser to filter out the interference from the stereo, but still nothing changes??? but my friend said that when there switched on ya get an electric shock from the inverter if ya touch it which shouldnt be happening, can any1 help??? is the inverter faulty???

sorry mate, cant really help your question, but I also have neon in my footwells, but mine are wired to the courtesy light, but they do not buzz or shock me when on.
The positive lead on my neons is attached to the cd player permanant live, with the ground wired to the courtesy lights, and no probs.
So if I was you, just try wiring to the cd player live and switch the ground to the cd players ground as well!
Hope this helps!

When i was young and silly i busted my money on little mods like that but this might help.
I connected mine to the hazard light power supply in with the fuse box and that should stop the buzzing.
