Hello everyone. I've just bought my first car, its a Black 1.2 16V SXi Corsa B. It had just had an MOT, so I knew it was at least safe - so I bought it, its the exact car I wanted...

There it is lol. Decided to wash it...

I then decided that I will be de-badging it completely, I have some plans for it but I have a cash flow situation and will be starting with the cheaper things...

Just another pic of it sitting next to my mates XR3 wannabe lookalike RST Escort "Bonus" from 1991!

It is a pile of shite...

Then I started with the De-Badging. I just used a hairdryer to soften up the adhesive and then pull the badges off slowly by hand. It took ages to get rid of all the adhesive but I got there in the end...

Soap, and a scrub and then...

Can even see my reflection in the paintwork

...

Next on the list is the de-badged grill I've got...

What are your thoughts/opinions?

Thanks mate.

Just wanna get it looking nice, smooth, subtle and clean if you know what I mean. I'm going to finish De-Badging the back, remove all the other stickers and stuff then have a go at DIY depos on my lights I think.

I've just fitted a De-Badged grille:

Wanna re-spray my window wipers as they are knackered and look shite. Get some Euro style plates, lower it 40mm on either softstars or speedlines 16ers and keep going bit by bit if you get me lol...

I'm a DJ and need a nice soundsystem so i've fitted a big battery and just ordered some JL Audio VR coaxials...

Anything else to consider?

Thanks, I am planning on keeping it for a long time. My uncle was a Vauxhall mechanic for 5 years and is confident on doing a C20XE conversion at some point. In fact, he was the one who suggested it!!

Yeah, just getting the little things done first, then its onto the interior & sound system, then the wheels, colour coding etc...

Unfortunately my project came to a rather scary standstill last night...

I am 100% okay, the corsa is 100% written off.

I hope to be back soon with another corsa (and some clean boxers) very soon...
