hi
right.. being the run up to christmas im skint.. but need to improve my 1.2 8v badly!! even if it makes a better tone i will do it!
right i know about cutting the limiter inside the air box and drilling it but what else can i do that doesnt cost more than a few quid??!!
as i said it can be just to make it sound better or actulaly improve it!!

air box , cut the middle box out , decent stainless backbox may help

but wont cutting the middle box out make the emisions higher or make it fail the MOT??

no your car will still pass mot without centre box as i just had mot on my car without centre box and i passed the emissions very easily with a powerflow 6x4 oval backbox

no the emissions won't go higher as the cat sort that, i had a remus straight through middle pipe and passed the MOT with that on, twice

o2 sensor is by the cat/downpipe
not the rear center section

debadge and destrip, as said drill air box and get a k & n filter panel, polish and clean

yep its an spi...
whats the best way to get the badges and the strips off? the strips on the side are the small rubbery ones.. they look glued on!
and how do i go about the polishing and cleaning??

A good hairdryer and a credit card. I tried using a little hairdryer first and it wasn't hot enough
