How much shall i lower my car and what springs to buy, Ive decided to buy springs as theres no real point in spedning money on coilover kit as I really dont want anything for performance as its only a 1.0l

35/40mm would be ok .

Yeah, -40mm is said to be 'ok' on standard shocks, and doesn't sacrifice ride quality as much. It will shorten the life of your standard shocks though.

But buy springs, run them, when you need shocks, buy uprated shocks

as stated 40 mm is good ill be gettin 35 front and 40 rear for my 5 dr to make it slightly lower

And what springs give a true 40mm drop?

I have Eibachs and it is -35mm front and -25mm at the back.
Because I drive without spare wheel and no back seat the back needs to get lower

you can get a fk coilover kit for £165 delivered from lmf vauxhall thats what ive just got.
