Right i need a new centre section for my exhaust as my current one has rusted and has began to blow and cant be welded. It is on a 1.6 sport!

I currently have standard manifold - decat- standard centre section - backbox!

I can pick up a new centre section with two years warrenty for £30 posted to my door!

All i want to know is if it is worth buying the remus race pipe instead of a standard centre section?

Is it worth the money? Are there any gains? does it become too loud?

So should i replace the standard or go for the remus?

yer it will be very loud, i have a remus and a backbox with a 4-2-1 manifold and its very loud! and was b4 i changed the manifold!

i have a remus S/T with a magnex back box and it's not to bad the sound levels TBH, it is loudish but not mad.

I've got a remus race tube on mine with a sportex backbox and its pretty loud to be honest but I love it.

Being as yours has a de cat I would think it would be very loud and very raspy

ashely exhaust sysyems are very good, cheap and arn't too loud either, deep beefy sound, and wen it gets hot it gives nice deep pops and bangs. good value for money

i have a race tube centre section with stateside cherry bomb back box and this burbles, pops and allsorts on de-acceleration! honestly get it you will love it.
