Basic stuff I know, but I'm tired and its cold out there so rather than using trial and error to solve the problem, I hope one of you guys can tell me...

Which coloured wire goes to the rev counter from the engine bay?

obviously the coil has a green cable coming from it that needs wiring to the rev counter for it to work, but as I just did an engine swap I am left with several possible wires to connect this green cable to...

I assume that the blue/green cable in the same bunch as the ignition cables will be the cable I am after?...

but there isn't a green wire, there is however the blue/green wire that I am talking about.

It's a T-reg 1.2 16v shell, so that's the loom I have too.

rite basically remove bonnet leaver you have a panal that goes under the bonnet leaver you need to remove that i think its a 20 torx at the top then remove that you should see the ecu, infront of that there is a connector block you have so many wires going in and so many going out there should be a green wire going into the connector block but it doesnt come out. thats the rev counter wire yank it out cut it and solder with a new wireing running up to your clocks

yea the bonnet lever will just pull out and if i remember rightly the panel will run down to the drivers seat right hand side and there will be a little cut out in the trim about 1 cm long either way and theres a 30/20 torx in there give it a tug and it will come out

one thing, if you havent got it i would get one its easyier, go to a scrap yard and you want the brass terminal that goes into the block connector that then goes into the clocks, i tried bodging it but i ended up getting a connector from scrap yard and using the terminal for it and it worked straight away

can you explain what/where it is a little clearer mate as I am a little confused. I have another corsa sat out front that is getting removed in the morning by the local scrap yard so I will have to move quick to get it out!

when you take out the clocks there is a connector block in that there are wires with brassy coloured terminals with wires going in, you need one of them
