carbs are for none fuel injection engines, usualy older cars. they need adjustment every 6 months to a year but do sound amazing

TBs are just like a ram air affect, they sound great too

TBs are generally cheaper and give most power

much more to it thats just the basics

ok, so do you think them dbilas ones are a good quality TB's?

Should i get them modified to fit the trumpets or just keep the intake pipe and put a biiig filter on the end of it?

ive got no experience with dbilas, but havent heard anything bad about them

air filter wont give as much power as its gotta give air to 4 cyclinders, but ITB ( individual throttle bodies ) give more power because theres one to each cylinder so more air

depends on what you want

carbs can run on old and new cars you just need a low pressure fuel pump if you have a car with injection.
Carbs are actually cheaper way cheaper.
Carbs and TBs give pretty much identical power its just that TBs have better driveability.

Hey? Carbs are the cheaper option as you don't necessarily need any extra engine management to run them, where as Tbs will need spark/fuel management of some sort.

And i'm a touch lost with the ram effect thing

if they was as the front you've get a ram effect, but at the back on the corsa the engine pull's the air in - so no ram effect

right ok, well im kinda swayed towards TB's....firstly will try it with the one filter, then try it with the trumpets and a filter on each, will just see which seems to have the best effect
