You will need 2pk base coat in your case glacier white 2ltrs and 2lts of thiners to mix with that and filler primer with extra fast setting hardener for any repairs you do and 2ltr of clear cote with thiners to mix with that and accelerator to set clear cote off in 10-15 mins. Accelerator is a must if you do not have access to a stove/ oven and Alfa paints an south shields is your place m8

glacier white is a 2pack straight colour then normally base coat is for metallic paint where the lacquer is required to give the shine this also applies to candy flip paint and pearlescent paints also sum paints need mixing at a 2 to 1 ratio/3 to 1 ratio/ 4 to 1 ratio this is what the paint mixing stick is for because it has measurement's on it for the mixing ratio, if you use to much accelerator this will cause loads more orange peel

if you do not have access to a spray booth then you could/will get micro blisters this is when the paint is drying and there is damp in the air then the damp gets trapped then you get micro blisters seen loads of times paint with micro blisters before, if you get micro blisters then the only remedy is to da/random orbit sander the parts that have micro blisters also you can tint the primer to the colour of paint you are using then this will help the 2 pack top colour cover better
white is a really hard to get decent coverage

you can rub down the primer with 240 grit so long as it is a straight colour but if you use a metallic paint then it will need rubbing down with 600/800 grit wet and dry paper because if you do not then you will get prep marks also when you have rubbed down the primer before you paint it will need degreasing with panel wipe then when you have done this then the car will need tack raging off

then when you have painted your car then it will need flatting and polishing this gets rid of the orange peel paint, they also do a variable speed polishing machine and when flatting the top coat colour you could use washing up liquid as a lubricant this stops the wet and dry paper clogging up and also you can use washing up liquid in the water when you are polishing the top coat paint this helps you to stop burning the paint work when you are polishing

when using 2 pack paints you will need to use a cartridge type respirator and when you are in the spray booth then you will need to use a air fed respirator this stops isocyanate poisoning, what isocyanate poisoning does it turn your insides to jelly then you die this happened to 1 of my mates
