Where do nice beds?
I want something along these lines:
Homebase Bed
But maybe not that pricey. Although I could probably stretch to that.

I got one very similair without the underneath drawers though from Sleepmasters i think.
Mine was £500 without mattress for a king size.
Love it!

Interesting, if I wait for a Homebase 10% day which they have quite a lot, it would be £765 including mattress.
I'm tempted by a king size, but when I get my own place I don't know how big my room will be, so thought I would play it safe with double.

I'm not fussed about underneath storage, although I guess it would be useful.

Yeh, not really my cup of tea. I'm quite keen on the top bed though.
Although not sure I would feel comfortable on a bed that I have put together myself

Simple as mate. Torx bits, sockets and screwdrivers should get that together in a jiffy.

Marks & Spencer do a lovely one like that.
Thought of the typical beds superstores on retail parks? You'll pick up some right bargains I'd imagine.

I don't think it's that much TBH. That includes a mattress.
I had a figure of about £600 in my mind but I would happily pay that for the top one.

Got mine from Bensions Beds. Think it was around £600 a year ago for a double.

Quite like this one actually:
http://www.johnlewis.com/230414018/Product.aspx
Works out cheaper than the Homebase and as it's JL it should be good quality.
