played hockey when i was younger as I know matt H did as well.

usedd to play hockey when i was younger,

rarley go now, but i did buy new skates last year so should make the effort really.

always ust to go with my mates, getting the bus then train and now im driving i havnt been in years, bought my 2nd set of skates yesterday so going to try and go once or twice a month now..

i tried it when i was a kid but never really got into it. i used the play roller hockey and i was a pretty strong skater but was rubbish on ice. our nearest rink was an hours tram ride away and was always hammered so wasn't the best place to improve your skating.

I'm a good skater, but I tried ice skating a year or so ago and I wasn't as good as I remember, either that or I couldn't transfer my ability to the ice from my skates.

just practice though realy aint it same with most things..

cant wait to go soon and try out the new skates, just going when the kids go back to school after xmas as it will be packed, and like C2RL R said not the best time to improve your skating..

Been a few times when I was younger, it was fun.
Wouldn't mind going again sometime although kinda scared to since I have a seriously weak ankle now
