iv got a cone filter on my 1.6 16v (it came with it)

i want to put the standard air box on, what airboxes are the same in the corsa range?

1.4 16V,1.6 16V & Possibly the Later GSI Engine + 1.2 16V?

Not all exactly the same. When I asked my uncle to get me one from a scrappy, the first one he got me was from a pre 97 model, completely wrong fitting.

Early Gsi one is the same but has a larger intake hole, x16xe in the tigra has an altogether larger box so i guess a better air intake. Two options which give you more air flow.

Of subject saw some nice wheels on a 08 tigra today, to much attention to air box,s lately all air and no fuel = NIL.

its nothing to do with airbox modding, i just want rid of my shitty cone filter

Buy a 20 valver special custom box lots of air and filler and thats all, or get a standard with a k@n

To be honest the standard size sport one is good enough, before buying my viper kit a removed the bottom panel off the air box and put a k&n panel filter in. Flowed alot better.

i've just fitted a standard airbox as planned

i also plan to put a k&n panel in when £ allow. Hope the £35 is worth it

another thing, i havn't got the pipe that goes form the slam panel to the airbox is this neccasary?

That pipe is the cold air feed and no, you don't need it. I've had mine off for over a year now with no problems.
