Going for a night out what bars & clubs would you recommend? Is it a good night out?

Can't recommend anywhere....but i've been told that the club called "The Birdcage" is soooooo overrated and looks great on the website but is a steaming pile of horse crap in reality.

Theres a Birdcage in Manchester...its a bit camp with the drag cabaret etc. but always stuffed full of fit girls on hen parties!!!

Leeds is ment to be a stag / hen night central a lad i no went for his and said was an amazing night just want to see what others have thought of it club mission looks good

Im in to all kinds really indy rock dance garage ect ect but to be fair want to end up in a good dance club

Dry Dock and Cockpit are good places mate if you're into rock.

Off the top of my head:
Down by Merrion Street Verve Bar is good, plays indie/rock. Mojo's which is a cocktail bar. Fibre which is a gay & straight place.
Other than that you can drink round Millenium Square. Check out Cortyard, Revolutions, Sports bar, Bourbon & Cocoon.
Up near the Light you have Varsity & Lloyds. TigerTiger & Bar Risa just down the road form them towards the city centre.
Down Greek Street you have Slug & Lettice, Living Rooms (Expensive as fuck though in there) Henrys, Prohibition & a couple of others that I cant remember.
Greek Street, Millenium Square & The Light are all very close so you could walk between the 3 if you wanted to.
Call Lane has a couple of decent bars but thats where most the gay bars are so watch out if thats not your kinda thing.
Boar Lane has a load of bars but these are normally full of chav cunts, so i'd aviod them.
Few decent bars around the Corn Exchange an all which are worth checking out an all.
TBH if your there during the day have a walk round & try plan a route. Nothing worse than walking round somewhere with no clue where you are going.

There's a few of us going we plan on getting there about 4 so we can have a wonder and see what's about ect we're going down for new years eve just the lad's so hoping for a good night to be honest that night think we just going to head to the lively dance clubs and bars

They don't let groups of lads in a lot of places so you will have to split up. Not really a fan of Leeds, always seem to encounter a lot of stuck up people.
