Im getting bored of my corsa, very bored to say the least. I have always liked the Honda Civic Type R (not the new model) but i dont know what model to go for. how many different mk's was there from 2002 to 2006, what was the best one to go for and what colour?
Opinions and suggestions please!
Pics also welcome

Late one, premier edition.

Recaro seats,
Red carpets,
Tinted rear windows,
Momo steering wheel.

Think there is something else, not sure what though. My premier was a 55 plate, fucking loved it.

Was looking at something like this one:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2005-55-HONDA-CIVIC-TYPE-R-ANNIVERSARY-SPEC-LOW-MILES_W0QQitemZ310105872764QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutomobiles_UK?hash=item310105872764&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A4|65%3A2|39%3A1|240%3A1318

I think i prefer the silver/grey ones. Anything to look out for when checking them over?

But they are imports which im funny about, parts etc etc and for the same price of a decent one of them i can get a CTR. I know they push 187bhp from a 1.6 but id rather have the comfort of a newer car and have 197 from a 2l. My mate has a civic coupe 1.6 vti and its is rapid but eats fuel to easily.

But if i had 6k and came home with that over the CTR my gf and family would just never understand, although they are rapid i just think i need a more sensible car. But know you lot are making me think ek9
Any one want to give me a test drive in their CTR and then someone in an ek9? lol

I prefer the pre face lift bumpers but is there any other major differences between the pre and post?
