Hi,
I have a Corsa X14XE And it is Idleing at 3.5-4K,And it also has a slight Whistleing Noise.

Any Ideas what it could be?

The EML Light is ON.

Im thinking maybe the ICV?

Air Flow meter mate? Check your hoses for vac leaks.

What's the engine?

Oh Sorry Mate.

Its a X14XE Do these have Air Flow Meters?

How do you Check for Air Leaks Etc(Any easy way?)I think it may be the ICV Any other Ideas?

Either an air leak, dodgey idle valve or a broken/incorrectly adjusted throttle position sensor (if ecu doesnt see throttle at 0% it would do this so might be worth checking the throttle cable too)

Ok,Ill get these Checked(But its just sooo Cold outside Lol)

How to you check for Air Leaks?

Will Disconnecting the ECU Help things as i have Done this but havnt Reconnected it yet so dont know?

idle contol valve , air leaks, and if the throttle rubber is split and leaking then thats a sod of a job, disconnecting the ecu will not help, also check sai connections.

sounds like an air leak (would explain high idle and whistleing noise) basically just run it and get under the bonnet and see if you can see where the noise is coming from-thats where i'd start bud

Will do Mate,Ive got no choice as its really Annoying & Embarissing Lol.

Its just not really that easy to Find a Air Leak
