Standard 1.4 16v sport.

The passenger side 1 seems to be knocking/ making my wheel wiggle under drive / coming to a stop. Sometimes out of gear but more so in gear.

CV Boot split? Diff packing up? Bottom ball joint?

Its going in on Wednesday for a replacement box/ flywheel.

Whats the tell tale signs of the above failing? Can you tell which 1 through looking? What should i look for?

That could the the CV or a wheel bearing!?

But if the wheel is physically "wiggling" then do not drive until it's been fixed as "could" be very dangerous, had similar situation when i 1st bought my car, wasn't nice

Yeah- It wiggles.

CV boots are easy enough to see if you can see its split right?

It appears to be the ball joint. If so- How much for a replacement?

CV boots are around £10. How much for the Baring?

Thanks,

Joe

The boot is just a cover, be more worried about what's inside...

That's a good point you looked in there yet?

Id give autovaux a tinkle as they are really helpful and good prices for parts too
